To TEAM Academy Charter School:

TEAM Academy is located at 85 Custer Avenue, between Elizabeth and Bergen Avenues.  It is located in the Weequahic section of Newark, two blocks from Weequahic Park. 

Parking is available in the parking lot on Custer Avenue next to the school.  If the gate is closed, dial 973-705-8326 x 1000.

FROM NY:
From the Lincoln Tunnel, take the NJ Turnpike South to I-78 West and follow the directions below.

From the Holland Tunnel, take I 78 West and follow the directions below. 

From the GW Bridge, take the NJ Turnpike South to I-78 West and follow the directions below.

FROM I-78 West
Take the Hillside Avenue to Clinton Avenue exit #56 (NOT exit #54 Hillside), from either the local or express lanes. Take the first right off of the exit, onto W. Runyon. Take a right on Elizabeth Avenue, and then a right on Custer Ave. (the street just after Meeker, Weequahic Park is on the left). Go to the end of the block, where you’ll see the school on the right.
 
FROM GARDEN STATE PARKWAY SOUTH

Take Exit 143a, Union/Lyons Avenue Exit. Make a left at the light onto Union Ave. Take a left at the next light, onto Lyons Avenue. Go for 5-10 minutes, past Beth Israel Hospital, until Bergen Street. Take a left onto Bergen, and drive until Don King Plaza/Custer Avenue, the first right after Renner. Take a right, and drive 2 ½ blocks until you TEAM Academy on your left (85 Custer Ave).

FROM GARDEN STATE PARKWAY NORTH
Take the GSP to 78 East. Take 78 East to exit 54 towards Irvington.  Merge onto Fabyan Place.  Turn right on Chancellor Ave. Turn Left on Bergen. Drive until Don King Plaza/Custer Avenue, the first right after Renner. Take a right, and drive 2 ½ blocks until you TEAM Academy on your left (85 Custer Ave).
